Abstract

The money belt comprises a strap with buckle and supporting removable pouches to carry money, identification, passports and/or documents with a high degree of security, mounted so as to be able to rotate about an axis normal to the vertical belt face and thus adapt to the wearer's posture. The mounting for each pouch may incorporate an axle stud (11) which traverses a belt loop (10) and the wall (14) of the case. The stud (11) is mounted on an enlarged base plate (12) which provides anchorage to the belt loop (10). The other end of the stud has a threaded socket (13) which receives a retaining screw (15) with an enlarged head. A clip (16) may be fitted to prevent the screw from unfastening.
